What steps do I take if my Series 4 Ultra Rangefinder isn't working as expected?

If the unit does not turn on or the display does not illuminate:

1. Press the Power button.

2. Check the battery compartment to make sure the battery is inserted correctly or if it has a low battery. Replace the (CR2-3V) battery if needed.

If the unit powers down (the display goes blank when attempting to power the laser): •     

1. The battery is either weak or low quality.  

2. Replace the battery with a new battery (CR2-3V *1).

If the flag (target) range cannot be obtained:

1. Make sure the display is illuminated.

2. Make sure that the Power button is being pressed down.

3. Keep hands or fingers away from the objective lenses so they do not block the laser ray path.    

4. Make sure the rangefinder is held steady while pressing the Power button.
